2005 - 2007 Ford 1-ton F-350 Pickup 4WD V-10, Diesel4" Lift System (Diesel)Lift is achieved via replacement coil springs specific to gas or diesel engines to ensure proper lift height and factory ride quality. In order to obtain the amount of caster correction required for 4" of lift, radius arm lowering brackets are utilized. Other components included with the 4" system are: front compression travel-stop relocation brackets, track bar relocation bracket, front anti-sway bar extensions, and a steering stabilizer bracket. Shock options include: Superlift Superide, Superide Select Series by Bilstein (SS), or Superide Select Series Reservoir (SSR) Shocks. Blocks afford the best ride quality but axle wrap up is increased. Generally, this is not a noticeable problem unless you run fairly large tires and have a heavy accelerator foot. Add-a-leafs will reduce wrap-up, but also firm-up ride quality. Superide rear springs ride better than stock springs with add-a-leafs, but you lose the factory top-mounted overloads and their extra carrying capacity. This is not an issue with the 8" lift because of Superlift's load assist system.
