2005 - 2007 Ford 1-ton F-350 Pickup 4WD V-10, Diesel

6" Lift System (Diesel)

Lift is achieved via replacement coil springs specific to gas or diesel engines to ensure proper lift height and factory ride quality. In order to obtain the amount of caster correction required for 6" of lift, radius arm lowering brackets are utilized. Other components included with the 6" system are: front compression travel-stop relocation brackets, track bar relocation bracket, drop pitman arm, front anti-sway bar extensions, and a steering stabilizer bracket. Shock options include: Superlift Superide, Superide Select Series by Bilstein (SS), or Superide Select Series Reservoir (SSR) Shocks.

Which method of rear lift is right for you?

Blocks afford the best ride quality but axle wrap up is increased. Generally, this is not a noticeable problem unless you run fairly large tires and have a heavy accelerator foot. Add-a-leafs will reduce wrap-up, but also firm-up ride quality. Superide rear springs ride better than stock springs with add-a-leafs, but you lose the factory top-mounted overloads and their extra carrying capacity. This is not an issue with the 8" lift because of Superlift's load assist system. Superlift Torque-Max traction bars address axle wrap up in addition to looking trick.

4-Link Conversion Upgrade

Superlift's 4-link upgrade system offers real advantages over Ford's radius arm approach. The 4-link experiences less caster change as the suspension cycles yielding more stable steering and handling traits in all terrain types, on-road or off. Secondly, our adjustable Rockrunner lower links allow infinite caster adjustment; this is especially beneficial for the truck owner that hauls or tows since additional caster improves towing and/or loaded "steering feel" (caster is lost as the rear squats from being loaded). Also, the 4-link generates less bind as the suspension travels which improves ride quality.
  1. Fixed length upper links made of 2" OD x .188" wall thickness DOM tubing and .25" steel plate. Greasable, high density Urethane eye bushings deform less under load which improves control.
  2. Rockrunner Series lower links swivel to allow bind-free operation, and their length can be set for infinite caster adjustment. Made of 2" OD x .188" wall thickness DOM tubing and .25" steel plate. Greasable, high-density Urethane eye bushings deform less under load and improve control.
  3. New 4-link arm bracket attaches to existing radius arm bracket which is riveted to the truck frame.
  4. Factory steel-encased rubber bushings retained at link-to-axle mounting points to reduce vibration and shock transfer. Urethane upper eye bushings and factory lower bushings form the perfect combination.
  5. Shown with optional dual shock hoop and Superide SSR series shocks. Superide Standard series shocks and SS series by Bilstein also available.

Application Notes

  • Factory rear overload springs cannot be retained if replacement rear springs are used.
  • Dually applications may require different u-bolts. Measure stock u-bolts and refer to u-bolt specification chart to order correct u-bolts.
  • If vehicle is equipped with top mount overload springs a different rear u-bolt kit is required that is 2" longer than supplied in lift system; for 2½" rear block order pt # 11674 or 5" rear block kit order pt #11694.
  • Purchase of rear spring option #01-180 requires a quantity of 2
