Application Notes

  • Pitman arm included in kit box.
  • Minor cutting and / or welding required.
  • Slip Yoke Eliminator (SLE) kit also requires a new, CV type rear driveshaft. Superlift does not offer these driveshafts due to the multitude of possible driveline configurations. Rubicon models do not require a SLE (they are factory equipped with a fixed-yoke), but Rubicon’s with 6” of lift will require a CV type rear driveshaft. Contact your local driveshaft supplier or one of the national drivetrain specialists.
  • A small percentage of Jeeps with 4” of lift (except Rubicon model) will require a Slip Yoke Eliminator (SLE) kit to reduce driveshaft angle / driveline vibration; this cannot be determined until the lift is installed, and the Jeep road tested. A SLE kit is required with lifts over 4” (except Rubicon model).

More Information

The combination of numerous design features like our unique 2-piece skid pan assembly that anchors 8 full-length Rockrunner™ swivel arms, steel-encased rubber and Urethane eye bushings, three different shock options plus a front coilover shock conversion make Superlift's long arm systems the best performing and most complete systems available.

Some of the kit features are the Rockrunner Long Arms, these arms provide exceptional clearance and  full lock to lock steering. All 8 arms feature swivel-link ends with steel encased rubber bushings for noise and bind free operation.

Second is the unique 2-piese skid pan assembly. The design provides access for routine drivetrain maintenace and adequate room for exhaust routing. Remove the primary pan (made of .25" plate steel) to access u-joints, shifter linkage, even transfer case removal, and our inner pan ( made of 3/16" plate steel) remains to support the transmission.

The kit also provides new coil springs  that provide lift for the base long arm systems, proper compression travel control through new poly bump stops and bump stop spacers. Drop pitman arm, track bar bracket, track bar brace, and adjustable track bar provide ideal steering geometry. An adjustable rear track bar and relocation bracket offers increased stability over rear 3-link design that omits the rear track bar. Also included are front the rear sway bar disconnects.

Base kits offered with your choice of 3 different performance shock options; Superide, Superide Select Series (SS) by Bilstein or Superide Select Series with a remote reservior (SSR).

* 6" Lift includes front / rear Kevlar reinforced, braided stainless steel brake hoses; hoses are optional for 4" lift

* A front coilover conversion is available featuring our reservoir gas monotube coilovers with new, revolutionary progressive rate springs to improve ride quality and reduce lift force when climbing obstacles. Our progressive rate coil operates noise-free; an advantage over dual-coil designs

  • Arms bolt directly to the stock TJ axle housings. Weld-on brackets available for all popular front axle housing upgrades
  • Arms’ design and flat operating angle create ideal weight transfer characteristics and alignment
  • Made of .188" wall DOM tubing (lowers 2" OD; uppers 1.5" OD)
  • Longer optional female swivel ends for front and rear arms offer wheelbase increases in 1", 2" and 3" increments

2-Piece Skid Pan -The Superlift design provides access for routine drivetrain maintenance and adequate room for exhaust routing. Remove the primary pan to access U-joints, shifter linkage, even transfer case removal, and our inner pan remains to support the transmission. The rear ends of the 4-link arms remain anchored to the frame rails.

  • Primary (bottom) pan constructed of .25" plate steel, and secured with flush-mounted fasteners
  • Inner pan constructed of 3/16" plate steel
  • High-clearance, tight profile
  • eXtreme clearance Flat Pan option available; requires high-pinion diffs, body lift and / or tranney tunnel modification

Other Primary Features:

  • New coil springs (shown) provide lift on our base long-arm systems.
  • Includes components for proper compression travel control
  • Base lifts offered with your choice of 3 different performance shock options: Superlift Superide, Superide Select Series (SS) or Superide Select Series with remote reservoir (SSR)
  • Dropped pitman arm, track bar bracket, brace and adjustable track bar provide ideal steering geometry. Works with tie-rod in stock location or "flipped"
  • Adjustable rear track bar and relocation bracket offers increased stability over rear 3-link designs that omit the track bar
  • Front and rear sway bar quick disconnects
  • Optional Superlift eXtreme Ring diff cover protectors
  • 6" Lift includes front / rear Kevlar reinforced, braided stainless steel brake hoses; hoses are optional for 4" lift
  • A front coilover conversion is available featuring our reservoir gas monotube coilovers with new, revolutionary progressive rate springs to improve ride quality and reduce lift force when climbing obstacles. Our progressive rate coil operates noise-free; an advantage over dual-coil designs
