The Scout II has a very simple suspension similar to a Jeep CJ; leaf springs mounted below the axles. The lift system consists of new leaf springs with Urethane spring eye bushings, front and rear U-bolts, self-locking nuts and heavy-duty washers, plus our unique degree shims that are attached to the rear springs to improve driveshaft angle

Over the years Scouts were factory equipped with a wide range of springs with different rates and ride heights; so lift height will vary slightly.
