A Superlift® Classic - This vehicle family has a durable, “lift friendly” one-piece axle housing with leaf springs at both the front and rear ends. When weighing rear lift options, remember that the factory springs, if still in good condition, are considered a pretty good stock spring. This fact, combined with the absence of factory lift blocks, generally makes the vehicle a good candidate for rear lift blocks. Add-a-leafs are the ticket to firm-up the rear for hauling, towing, and to combat spring wrap-up. Replacement rear springs are the way to go if the factory springs are overly fatigued, or rear lift height is over 8".
