Q: Why is front lift more than rear lift?
The majority of factory trucks and SUVs sit approximately two inches high in the rear when unloaded, so the vehicle’s rear ride height will not be excessively low when the truck is loaded. With most people that lift their vehicles, load and towing capacity are not priorities; performance, tire clearance, and vehicle appearance are key. Contact Superlift if your lifted vehicle will be used for hauling or towing considerable loads. Q: Is a front-end realignment required after installing a lift?

Q: How will a lift kit affect my new vehicle's warranty?
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), an organization that works on behalf of automotive aftermarket manufacturers, has a complete list of your rights regarding warranties and aftermarket equipment. In order to refuse a warranty claim, the dealership must be able to prove that aftermarket parts caused the issue.
Q: How will a lift kit affect vehicle stability?
The general rule is that lifting a vehicle increases its center of gravity, although it is not unusual for moderately lifted vehicles, with moderately taller and wider tires / wheels, to be more stable than their stock counterparts; go “wide” as you go “tall”. Q: Why doesn’t Superlift offer a taller kit for my vehicle?
As suspension lift designers, we work within the limitations of the factory platforms. For example, an older leaf sprung General Motors truck can be lifted up to 12", and depending on its drivetrain, easily handle 40”+ diameter tires. Conversely, Independent Front Suspension designs are limited to more moderate lift heights and tire sizes due to their less robust steering systems and axles. Generally speaking, if Superlift does not offer a kit as tall as you think you need, you probably shouldn't go there.
Q: Does my State have any laws restricting lift kit height or methods?

Q: When should I consider changing my vehicle’s axle gear ratios?
Taller tires effectively lower a vehicle’s gear ratios, but at what point (tire size) does this become a noticeable detriment to performance and fuel economy? There is no single answer. Most vehicle models are available with different axle ratios, with the ratio tied to a specific engine size, whether the vehicle has a towing package, etc. If you haven’t purchased the vehicle yet, buy a vehicle with as low a gear ratio (numerically higher) as possible. Other “rule of thumb” generalities… Full-size vehicles with gas engines can satisfactorily run up to a 35” tire with most factory gearing. Diesel vehicles, due to their additional torque, can satisfactorily run even larger tires.
Q: How will lifting my truck affect my driveshafts?
Driveline correction is incorporated into virtually all Superlift lift kits. Our rear lift blocks are either tapered or flat, depending on application, to address driveshaft angle. Our replacement springs have a tapered degree shim attached, where applicable, to accomplish the same result. In certain applications, relocated differentials are re-timed for proper angle, and to restore shaft spline engagement. Sometimes, lift block pins and holes are offset to address shaft length issues.

Q: Lift Kit Part Numbers
The vast majority of Superlift lift kits are ordered and invoiced as a single part number with a “K” prefix. A “K-Number” identifies a specific group of components required for a given application. You will receive the appropriate components, each with their own part number, although none will bear the lift kit’s K-Number.
Q : How do I know that you received my order?
You will receive email notification after you complete the online ordering process.
Q: How long does it take for Superlift to ship my order?
Our goal is to ship all orders within 24 hours.
Q: How will I know when my order is shipped?
You will receive email notification, plus a tracking number.
Q: How will I know what shipping method was used, and how do I track my shipment?
We use UPS for smaller shipments, and you are provided their usual service options (Ground, Second Day Air, etc.) at checkout. Heavier shipments are shipped via the appropriate truck freight carrier for your geographical region. The tracking number will identify the truck freight carrier.
Q: Does Superlift charge sales tax?
Superlift collects sales tax on retail sales within Louisiana only. Purchases made outside of Louisiana may be subject to tax in your state. If so, reporting the purchase and payment of these taxes is the purchaser’s responsibility.
Q: What is Superlift’s Returns Policy?
Contact Superlift at 1-800-551-4955, or firstname.lastname@example.org, for a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number. Clearly write the RMA number multiple times on each package being returned, and on a packing list that contains your contact information. Non-warranty returns are subject to restocking/repackaging charges of up to 20%. Freight charges are the customer’s responsibility.

Q: What if my order is lost in transit, or damaged?

If replacement product is needed immediately, before the claim process can be completed, Superlift will bill and ship the replacement product then issue a refund if product involved in a claim is ultimately returned.
