Special puller tool is recommended to load / unload torsion bars.
Front lift is achieved with new torsion bar keys. The keys mate to the rear ends of the bars, housed in the torsion bar crossmember. The torsion bar keys have hex-cut holes that mate to the rear ends of the torsion bars. As the keys are loaded, they apply torsional load to the bars which, in turn, lift the vehicle. The hex holes in the Superlift keys are indexed differently to increase bar rotation and lift.
Superlift replacement tubular upper control arms make realignment possible, and restore proper suspension extension travel. Without adequate suspension extension travel, the upper control arms will repeatedly "top out", creating a harsh ride and accelerated ball joint wear. Constructed of .219" wall thickness DOM tubing and .25" steel plate, our control arms have proven to be almost indestructible.
Rear lift is via add-a-leafs.
Includes front / rear Superide shocks.
Options include a replacement steering stabilizer. If additional rear lift is desired, also order 1" Shackle Kit part number 3103-5.
