Superlift's 4" and 6" HD lift systems include a new, replacement pitman arm to reduce drag link angle. In 2009 Dodge increased the diameter of the factory steering box main shaft; the "box" (splined) end of the pitman arm increased from 1.2878" to 1.5585" in diameter. Fortunately, enough size difference exists to make it virtually impossible to erroneously install the older arm on the newer truck and vice-versa.

This pitman arm change is the only change in Superlift's 4" and 6" lift systems for the 2009 model; all other late-2008 model lift system components and optional accessories also fit the 2009 model. If you already stock 2003-08 systems in Kit Box form, only the one new 2009 Kit Box is required to cover the whole application spread.
