OVERVIEW
Choose lift height to see
tire/wheel recommendations
Front lift is handled by heavy-duty leaf springs that utilize polyurethane eye bushings. These are fairly heavy vehicles, and relatively old, so the factory rear springs are generally fatigued. Because of this, the most popular method of rear lift is using 1.5" blocks with 2" lift add-a-leafs (inserting one extra leaf plate per spring) to lift and strengthen the spring pack. Black Diamond's 4" lift replacement rear springs are recommended if the factory springs are in really bad shape. The system also includes a complete U-bolt kit, with self-locking hardware, and front brake hose relocation brackets. Our dropped pitman arm, used to lessen steering linkage angle, is recommended. Other options include a steering stabilizer and AT Shock Absorbers.
