The performance of a dedicated, hard-core off-road machine with the manners of a "daily driver"... Superlift just made it possible.
Making a suspension that articulates well while crawling along relatively flat terrain is easy enough, but designing a system that
handily conquers all terrain types, handles well at speed (on-road or off), is noise-free, installer-friendly and durable is something
else... Superlift introduces the Black Diamond X2 system.

With 37" tires and stock width axles, the X2 provides a stunning *14" of overall front wheel travel and *12.75" at the rear. With 9" wide wheels you can literally stuff 37" rubber into the fenderwells without a body lift. Got horsepower and a penchant for huge tires? No problem; the X2 will not be your Jeep's "weak link". Different axle bracketry is offered to fit all popular axle housing conversions, plus the X2 is rugged enough to handle basically all the tire size and horsepower you desire for your particular build.

X2 system installation requires extensive cutting and welding, and the ability to precisely measure and properly locate numerous
components. Black Diamond strongly recommends that the installation only be performed by a professional mechanic. If you have any
concerns as to your installer's ability to tackle this complex project, call Black Diamond for an installation booklet and video.
X2 Tech
Generally, coil springs and / or coilover shocks offer increased suspension travel and compliance compared to standard leaf springs, but at a price; coils at all four wheels increase body roll, plus they induce excessive lift while climbing, and excessive dive during down-hills. The X2 uses either coil springs (TJ) or Superlift's new progressive rate coilovers (YJ, optional for TJ) in conjunction with 4-link long arms on the front suspension, while our unique leaf spring-over-axle design supports the rear. The end result is a system that attains a never-before-achieved combination of stability, articulation, ride quality and control. It's not just a matter of increasing suspension travel... the X2 properly controls this additional travel to provide the correct amount of vehicle weight transfer at the right time, resulting in stable, predictable handling characteristics on any type of terrain.
